We are proud to announce the 2023 Medical Advisory Board (MAB) of Andwise! This esteemed group of highly skilled and experienced physicians is respected in their respective medical fields. With members spread across the United States, the MAB has a diverse set of backgrounds and specializes in a variety of medical disciplines, including but not limited to primary care, cardiology, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery.

The MAB is also geographically diverse and has reach through social media platforms popular among physicians and their individual and collective networks. We have such an incredible team of exceptional physicians and are privileged to have their support.

Our 2023 MAB is comprised of individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the medical, financial, and business fields. The board provides a unique perspective on how to best manage one's finances as a physician, and offers insights on topics such as investment strategy, career planning, and financial goal-setting. Additionally, the board is well connected to the medical community, and is able to provide Andwise with valuable feedback from physicians across the country.

Dr. Varun Verma, a seasoned internal medicine physician, embodies a passion for public health advocacy and a deep-seated knowledge of the trials encountered by medical professionals. His expansive experience spans 14 renowned hospitals, including UCSF, the Brigham, Jefferson, and Bellevue. Alongside his wife, a dermatologist, Varun champions the physician-patient relationship and fosters community and solidarity among physicians.

Tanya Frias brings over twenty years of financial services experience to Andwise. With her extensive background as a Certified Financial Planner and her dedication to making financial planning accessible, especially in underserved communities, Tanya is a key asset to our team. Her qualifications include a B.S. from the City University of New York, CFP certification from NYU, ChSNC certification from the American College, and she is currently advancing her knowledge with an Executive MBA from Kellogg-Northwestern.
